Nine Months

Judah is 9 months old!!!! He is changing on what seems like a daily basis! His little chubby face is slimming down some and he is doing new things every day! We haven't been to his 9 month check-up yet, so we don't know stats yet. I think he is getting his two top teeth. He is kind of fussy and wants to be held all the time. At least when I am around. He is o.k. if Lawson is watching him or if my dad is watching him. (He was in town Monday and Tuesday to watch the boys since Damaris and Ryan were in Mexico on vacation.) And as soon as he hears my voice or sees me he begins to whine and want me to pick him up.

He is clapping his hands and will clap them when he sees Lawson doing it and if he sees people doing it on TV. He stands up on everything and it seems like he will start cruising soon. He hasn't quite figured out how to stand up and move at the same time. Lately he has been wanting to play with whatever Lawson has and that is frustrating Lawson. He keeps telling me, "Judah is messing it up!" and "Mama, move Judah!" It's payback though because Lawson will take toys away from Judah.

He has this new trick where he likes to fall back on the bed and laugh and now it has moved into the tub, which is not fun. He has caught me by surprise on occasion.

As far as food goes, he doesn't like Puffs or Biter biscuits, but does like to put everything else in his mouth. We have to sweep all the time because he doesn't care what it is, it goes in the mouth. We have started yogurt with fruit and cereal and he loves it! And I have picked up some 9 month baby food which has a thicker texture, but he's not a fan yet.

Judah likes to grab the skin on my neck and also likes to grab hair. Early in the morning if he is laying in our bed, he will wake up and hit your face. Always fun.

He is very interested when Lawson and Lawson wrestle. He loves to watch them play. He is so ready to play with them.

We are trying to teach him how to wave bye-bye. When we say "bye", he will throw his hand up in the air. It's so cute!
