Easter Egg Hunt

A couple of weekends ago, we met our dear friends, the Morlandts at their church for an Easter egg hunt and play day. There were lots of fun things to do other than hunt for Easter eggs. There was cookie decorating and pony riding and eating Chick-fil-a!

Ready to go find eggs!

Enjoying the toddler toys. Lawson kept trying to slide it off the curb into the street.

Pony ride!

Lawson wanted the horse to go faster. He kept trying to spur it on.

Eggs! There were about 100 kids and 100 parents in a 20x20 roped off area. Needless to say, I stayed out of the crush.

They had the BEST sugar cookies to decorate. They were huge!!!!

Judah and his black eye.

Family shot! Taryn says "Hi!"

Sophia and Lawson enjoying their cookies.

Lawson and Sophia decided to go for a walk. The fact that they are holding hands is precious. Lawson, Sarah and I have decided that we will show this at their rehearsal dinner. Tony thinks that the wedding will have to wait until Sophia is 40ish.:)

Another cookie!

Sharing a shaved ice with Sophia.

Judah also enjoyed the shaved ice. He said it made his eye feel better.:)

They had a great inflatable fun house that Lawson loved. We had to drag him out of there.

Jareal spent the weekend with us. Here he is being a nut!

Later that night, the Morlandt's came over for dinner. We grilled out with Damaris, Ryan and Jareal. I slightly burned the hamburgers, but the hot dogs and sausages were great! It was such a wonderful night!

Lawson and Sophia jumping on the bed. And no one got hurt!

The Hoppers and Morlandts. Notice that Lawson and Vince both have their arms out. Lawson saw Vince doing it, so he had to do it too. Sophia is eating a hot dog bun. And Judah wants a bite.

Giving Lawson a ride.
