Easter Sunday

Judah woke up early on Easter Sunday. I guess he wanted a sunrise service to celebrate! Lawson took a little longer to wake up. We had Easter baskets prepared for the boys. Unfortunately, Lawson's was much fuller than Judah's. Good thing he doesn't care. Next year he will have one more like his brother. :)

We went to brunch on Easter Sunday with Damaris and Ryan, Lawson and Terri. We have a local restaurant where we love to eat. The weather was perfect, so we sat outside. And the food was fabulous! I had a Monte Cristo Sandwich, a ham and cheese sandwich, dipped in some sort of batter and deep fried! And then you dip it in syrup! How bad can that be? Mine by far was the most fun! And we finished the meal off with a Cookie Dough Egg Roll.

I also thought it would be fun to dye eggs. But seeing as how I don't like letting Lawson fingerpaint, I am not sure why I thought this would be a good idea. He has no sense of caution, so eggs were being tossed around and dropped. But he liked looking at the colored eggs. You can tell by the look on my face what I think about this experience. :)

We had an Easter Egg hunt before nap time. Lawson loved looking for the eggs, but would have t to stop and look in each egg. So the M&M's that were in the eggs melted. But he loved the "magic" beans (jelly beans). He wanted to plant them to see a huge beanstalk grow. We have been watching cartoons and reading books about Jack and the Beanstalk (or Giant Tasha and the Beanstalk).
