Lawson took a half day on Thursday and took off Friday so we could have a longer stay. We drove through Chattanooga, which is such a great city, except for the traffic we got stuck in. Rush hour. We like the drive by the Ocoee River and the Nantahala River, although it makes the drive a little longer than going through Atlanta.
On Friday, Lawson took Alyssa and Lawson out to look for critters. This is a reoccurring thing. They didn't find anything, but had a great time being outside.
Double duty! Ha!
A new way to go down the stairs.
Grammie and Juju
My in-laws have a big galvanized tub that they keep on their porch, so Uncle Lawson/Daddy filled up the tub so Lawson and Alyssa could play.
This mountain water is COLD!
Alyssa was "washing" Lawson's hair.
Joy!
Lawson got out the water hose and started spraying the kids. So here is the progression.
Enjoying it for a second.
Lawson running away from the spray.
Alyssa still enjoying it.
Then she couldn't take the cold any longer. (As she told Uncle Lawson, "I find this water is too cold.")
But then this happened.
Payback
"Ewwww" face-makes this face whenever something is gross to him.
He did it when he saw the caterpillar.
