Lawson had his 15 month appointment this past Friday and we visited a new pediatrician. Our previous pediatrician went on early maternity leave and was not going to be back at her practice until Lawson was two, so we took the opportunity to find a new pediatrician. We liked the one we went to. I just wish the doctors would spend a little more time with us.
Anyway...the boy is 31 inches long (75th percentile) and weighs 21 lbs and 4 oz (10th percentile). So we are raising a lightweight! The doctor wasn't worried. She said that many kids don't gain a lot of weight when they begin walking, but will soon start to gain more. But that means he has only gained 1 pound and 4 ounces since his 9 month appointment. Aunt DeeDee is trying to help out by feeding him M&M's. He likes that. His head, by the way, is 19 inches in diameter. It fits his body. But overall, he is a very healthy boy!
