Lawson is 15 months old! Wow! He's a little boy now! We didn't go see the pediatrician for his 12 month appointment, so we are planning on going in for his 15 month checkup, so stats will come later. Lawson is walking like a champ and is beginning to run. It's so cute to see him run in short bursts. He loves to have shoes on his feet, my shoes, his shoes, any shoes that are laying around. He knows that when he has his shoes on we are going somewhere or he is going to go outside to play. He loves to go outside! When we go out, he runs around Damaris and Ryan's house to check out Aunt Dee Dee's honeybee planter and her backyard. Apparently it's a whole lot better than ours. He has started to laugh on his own. He can make him himself laugh, which is so cute. He is willing to give kisses to anyone and everyone. (We are going to have to watch him with the girls.) I love holding him and he comes in for a kiss. He holds his lips together and says "mmmmm". So cute!!!!!! He is beginning to talk more. He says: dada, mama, nana (banana), DeeDee, no (nose), eee (eat), fi (fish), ni-ni (night-night) and wawa (water). He can make the sounds of a tiger and lion (growl), dog, cat, and monkey. He can recognize several animals too. He is signing "more, eat and shoes". He also loves his stuffed animals. This was a recent discovery. He will hold them and when we say, "Love your monkey, horse, alligator.", he will put it up to his face and lean his head down to it. Then he usually drop kicks it out of his way. But cute, nonetheless. It's amazing what he understands. He understands, "Go get your shoes, outside, bath time, change your diaper, go get a book, where's your remote (he has his own-thanks Mimi and Papi), get your toys, no, drink, and so many more. It's true that children are a sponge when they are young. He loves to play with his daddy. When Lawson is laying on the floor, Lawson will get on his back and bounce up and down like he's riding a horse. He is developing a great personality. He is laid back and goes with the flow. He has been great when he goes to the nursery at church and when I leave him with Aunt DeeDee or Amanda or the girls who babysit at my small group. He loves to watch kids play. He is learning how to eat with a spoon. He gets most of his food on him or the floor. We are trying to stop him from throwing utensils and food. He is enjoying his sippy cup more and more. So far he only drinks water. He has tried juice and milk, but doesn't like them that much. Aunt DeeDee tries to slip him some Dr. Pepper every now and then, and he enjoys that.
My baby is still a baby, but at the same time, he is becoming more and more like a toddler. It's amazing to see him change day by day. He is a wonderful, lovable little boy and Lawson and I are so amazingly blessed.
Loving his stuffed animals. He fell asleep like this one night.
Alligator Polliwalks!!! So cute and he loves them. The frog plays Jump Around and he likes to dance to it.
Mama's shoe doesn't fit that well, but I will walk around with it on my foot all evening.
Kissin' Mama!
Trying to get more mac and cheese in my mouth than on the floor.

Lawson is SUCH a doll!!! I just want to squeeze him!
Lawson is the cutest. I love his hair - all those curls but most of all I love his little personality. He's a funny little guy, with lots of spunk!
