A couple of Fridays ago, we went to Atlanta with our friends, Sommer and Justin. Thankfully Lawson and Justin had more sleep this time, since the last time we went to Atlanta with Sommer and Justin, they stayed up all night talking. There is a clothing store called H&M and we wanted to check out what they had. We got some pretty cool stuff and then walked around Atlantic Station. This is where H&M is as well as many other shops and restaurants. There are also condos and loft apartments, so it's like SoHo in Homewood but much, much bigger (and a tad bit cooler). We ate lunch at a fun restaurant called Doc Greens which is a place where you can get tons of yummy salads. We didn't want to eat anywhere that we could eat in Birmingham. Dinner was at a restaurant called BrickTops and it was really, really good. The best brown rice I have ever had was there. Baby Lawson made a mess on the floor with Cheerios, Puffs, his cheesey poofs, macaroni and cheese. The server was very gracious, but we felt bad. We need to take a tarp and put it under his high chair. Baby Lawson did great on the trip. He is such a laid back kid. We also stopped at Dunkin'Donuts on the way back. Yum! For some reason, going through the drive-thru cracked us up. The lady behind the microphone was quite funny. We had a great time with our friends and Sommer took some wonderful pictures of us. Unfortunately she is not in any of them.
Hanging out in the Square in Atlantic Station, eating the best Italian Ice ever. (Baby Lawson thought the mulch in the flower beds was tasty too. That's what he's looking at in this picture.)
