Pumpkin Patch with the Punkins

Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch. The weatherman said today was going to be beautiful. Well, it was cloudy, windy and cold. It wasn't the best day to go, but we had a great time anyway. Lawson loved the pumpkins and kept picking them up and throwing them as if they were balls. He also enjoyed running around. Since it has been so rainy, he hasn't been able to get outside that much. He picked out 2 pumpkins to go with the large pumpkin that Mimi bought him that is on our porch now. He likes to go outside and "look at it" which is what he says he wants to do when we tell him not to touch something. Although he can touch the large pumpkin, so I am not sure why he says that.

Since the Pumpkin Patch excursion lasted about 30 minutes, we decided to walk around the zoo. It wasn't crowded at all, seeing as it was cold, windy, and overcast. We enjoyed the Reptile House, the Monkey House, the Cat House and the Barn. Because they were all warm. Unfortunately the zoo was decorated for Halloween, which was awful! There was all kinds of gruesome stuff all over the zoo. After the zoo, we came home and had lunch and Lawson and Judah went down for naps and Lawson and I watched some football. When the Florida game came on at 2:30, we began watching that, but it wasn't going so well, so we went to our local science center (thanks Grammie and Pawpaw) and saw sting rays and sharks and fish and dinosaurs. It gave us some time away from the game and Lawson had a blast. Thankfully Florida pulled off a win, so our National Championship hopes are still alive! Go Gators!
