Ten Months Old

Between months nine and ten, Lawson did something amazing! He became a crawler! On March 30th, he began to crawl. We kept thinking he would crawl before that, because he would push himself up on his hands and knees, but wouldn't go anywhere. Then one day it happened. And now he can't be stopped! I have to be extra vigilant in keeping an eye on him. He loves to crawl and pick up things that he's not supposed to. He manages to find all kinds of things to put in his mouth. Thank goodness for the Swiffer Vac. It has been worth it's weight in gold. What other things are special for this month? He pulls himself up on everything. It's especially sweet when Lawson crawls over to me and pulls up on my legs because he wants me to pick him up. Then he promptly wants down again. He is still napping twice a day and the times vary. He usually naps longer for Aunt DeeDee than for me. I guess he just wants to hang out with me. Lawson is so laid-back and sweet. He smiles and laughs a lot. He seems to be enjoying baby food a lot more and broccoli is a new favorite veggie. I need to give him some peas and green beans again. Maybe they won't make him gag like the other times I have given it to him. I have tried to get a picture of Lawson on the couch in somewhat of the same position each month. However, he can move now, so he doesn't sit still anymore. Most of the pictures were of him really close to the camera lens, because he wanted the camera.

See?

Ten Months Old!

Looking very cute in his Florida Gator hat.

He likes to take his hat off right after we put it on. Also, when we put a hat on, he will immediately smile. Hats make him happy. And then he takes it off. He will even try to take a hat off of Lawson.

Crawling down the hall.

Lawson put this hat on Baby Lawson.

Then he started crawling...

Crawling some more...

right into the cabinet. (No babies were hurt in the making of this blog.)
