It snowed in Alabama! How exciting! My parents were in for the weekend, so Mom and I had to go to the store and buy milk, bread and eggs. Not that that is what you want to eat if you are snowed in, but it's the principle of the matter. We also bought a lot of other more yummy food. There was bread, milk and eggs left at the store, but I have never seen Publix so crowded. Stuff was flying off the shelves. I am sure people who get snow laugh at the way Southerners prepare for things like this, but when it does happen, we aren't really prepared for snow and ice. Crazy things happen, like being without power for a week or three. But we were excited to see the snow. And it snowed quite a bit. We took Lawson outside and were out for about 5 minutes and that was long enough. Lawson (daddy) built a snowman that was camouflaged with leaves. It was very nice to see snow. Unfortunately it lasted all of a half a day. And we weren't snowed in at all. Maybe next year.

When Mom and Dad came down, they brought a case of diapers for Lawson and he enjoyed playing in the box. Why is it that kiddos love things that are not toys. Lawson loves playing with our cell phones, keys, his name tag on his diaper bag, magazines, paper, etc. And he thinks his toys are just o.k.
Mom had to go to professional development on Friday, so Dad watched Baby Lawson so I could have some meetings for work. They took a nap like this. Cute!
