The Smokies

We went to North Carolina the last weekend in October to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. It was the first time Baby Lawson had been to the mountains. My in-laws live on a mountain in Cullowhee, North Carolina. The colors of the leaves were beautiful. Ryan and Jill Aldridge went with us and Brooke, Lawson's sister and Alyssa, our niece were there as well. We had a lot of fun. Lawson's (dad) Uncle Bob and Aunt Dottie and their three pound Yorkie live down the mountain from Lawson and Terri, so they came up to see us too. We had a great time with family and friends. We went out to eat at Nick and Nate's for Terri's birthday. Lawson, Lawson, Jill, Ryan and I went to Highlands, NC, a town nestled in the mountains. They have a Kilwin's there, which has the best ice cream in the whole world. It's called Toasted Coconut. I will have to get the picture of me and Jill enjoying the ice cream. It's amazing how fast four days will go by when you are enjoying yourself.
