The family came in for the dedication. My parents and grandparents drove in from Mississippi and Lawson's parents drove in from North Carolina. Damaris and Ryan are already here, so they just had to get up a little bit earlier for the 9:30 service. Our friends Ryan and Jill came, as well as Daniel and Kelli Taylor. Jessica and Casey Floyd and Matt and Amanda Leach were also there. We are fortunate to have such wonderful friends. Lawson was also dedicated with Beau King, who was born two weeks before him. We have known Beau's parents (Rodney and Mary Ann King) for several years and they were in the birthing classes with us at St. Vincent's. We were hoping to have the boys at the same time, but Beau came early and Lawson came late. Jeremy and Lauren Scott also dedicated their baby girl, Aliza, too. She is beautiful and Lawson thinks so too. It's fun to know so many people in the same stage of life.
After the dedication, we went to a fun Mexican restaurant called The Iguana Grille. Yum! It was a great day!
