Christmas

After Thanksgiving, Grammie came to spend two weeks with us.  We had a wonderful time baking cookies, decorating the Christmas tree, going shopping and just enjoying her time with us.  We can't wait until she and Pawpaw are in Birmingham permanently. 

The boys had matching pj's.  I think this is going to be the last year this happens.

 Mom and Dad came in the weekend before Christmas to have early Christmas.  BeeBee and DeeDee came over and BeeBee entertained the crowd with his Rudolph onesie pj's.  The boys got some fun toys and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle suitcases to pack when they travel to Mississippi to see Mimi and Papi.

Lunch at Bass Pro Shop.  We were out looking for Duck Dynasty stuff! Happy, happy, happy!

  Lawson and Terri came to celebrate Christmas with us.  We did lots of driving and looking at Christmas lights, cookie baking, hot chocolate drinking, shopping and hanging out.  It was great!

We went to the Christmas Eve service at church which is always so special.  We tried to keep Judah and Lawson with us, but Lawson wanted to go to his class and Judah stayed with us for the music, but when we sat down, he had had enough.  

 For Christmas Eve lunch, we went to Taziki's, a local Mediterranean restaurant.  We got free pieces of chocolate cake, which made the boys happy!

Lawson wanted this game so badly!  However, it freaks him and Judah out when they play it, because they are scared of the noises it makes.

It's hard to believe that another Christmas has come and gone.  We had a wonderful time celebrating with friends and family.  We are hoping to incorporate some more traditions next Christmas.  Now that the boys are getting older, they are understanding what the true meaning of Christmas is all about.  We want to foster that even more.
