St Augustine

While we were at Cinnamon Beach, we went to St. Augustine, which was about 20 minutes north. We always enjoy visiting the old part of the city, which turned 446 this past year. We had to take in some wonderful Cuban food at the Columbia House. Thankfully, crayons, an iPad, an iPod, countless loaves of fresh baked Cuban bread and butter kept the kids happy. And the adults had sangria, so that helped us too!

Not wanting to cooperate for pictures.

After dinner, we stopped at Kilwin's, a ice cream and fudge shop. They have my favorite ice cream, Toasted Coconut, so whenever I am close to a Kilwin's, we have to stop. After ice cream, we walked through Old St. Augustine on our way to Castillo de San Marcos, a fort and monument.
