Cinnamon Beach

At the beginning of July, we went back to Cinnamon Beach with Lawson's parents and his sister and her family. It was a wonderful time with only two days of rainy weather. We stayed in the same building that we stayed in with my parents and Damaris and Ryan last summer. It was so much fun to go back and just enjoy a week of relaxing in the sun! The boys loved trying to "surf" and digging in the sand. There were also a lot of moon jellies that were all over the beach, so the kids liked picking them up and putting them in their sand buckets or throwing them back in the ocean. There was also the occasional sea nettle jelly and some of those were huge! Seth was stung by one when he was boogie boarding, and they definitely pack a punch. We would get up in the morning, head to the beach, then go to the pool, which helped rinse off the sand, ate lunch, napped, went back to the beach or the pool, ate dinner and fell asleep after a wonderful day! It was a great vacation!
