Crawdad Hunting in NC

We went to Lake Junaluska to feed the ducks and geese. Not my favorite thing at all. Geese are mean, so while everyone else was feeding them, I was swinging a bread bag at them trying to keep them away.

Waiting for the ducks and geese to come. Which they didn't, so we had to drive around the lake and find them. And there were around 10 ducks and 1000 geese. Not fun.

Crawdad hunters!

The kids had the best time wading in the creek and looking for crawdads. And throwing rocks. It is so hard for kids to see rocks and not throw them. So we had to set them up several feet apart and have them all throw in one direction. We had a wonderful time with Seth, Brooke, Alyssa and Jaron. Alyssa kept telling us that she would be down to Birmingham soon to see us. We told her to tell her mom and dad every day to "move to Birmingham." We are praying that it might happen!
