The kids were happy to see each other. Lawson doesn't hang out with a lot of girls, so when he saw Alyssa he kept calling her "Sophia", which is his one "girl friend". After he got tired of me telling him her name was Alyssa, he called her "Green Girl" for her green dress. Thankfully it only took about an hour and he was yelling her name as they were running through the aquarium.

The kids loved all the fish. And I absolutely love aquariums. I could spend hours looking at all the fish. Lawson and Lawson's favorite were the sea turtles and I loved the porcupine fish. Judah loved climbing on the exhibits and yelling "Bye-Bye" to all the fish and people as he left each exhibit. Oh, and he blew them kisses. The kids got to touch sharks and stingrays and sturgeon. And a turtle. Which Baby Lawson picked up and ran off with. You have to love the aquarium people telling you your son has stolen their "teaching" turtle. We spent around 2 hours in the Ocean building and then walked to get lunch. The kids were wonderful at lunch. All the walking wore them out. We went back to the other building, which is North American fish. Judah was so tired and needed a nap so he cried and screamed for a while in his stroller until we let him out where he proceeded to run from fish tank to fish tank. He just wanted to run. After we exhausted the aquarium, we went to a park right by the aquarium. Which was a tad bit close to the road, but enjoyable, nonetheless. We also wanted to celebrate Alyssa's 4th birthday, so we headed to the North Shore for cupcakes (thanks, Stacey!). Judah and Jaron fell asleep on the way over, so they missed out. Since it was St. Patrick's Day, all the cupcakes were green in some way. But delicious. Alyssa loves Hello Kitty, and since I do as well, I was so excited to buy Hello Kitty stuff for her. And she was generous to share her Hello Kitty bandages with Lawson. Who apparently loves Hello Kitty too. He sported a Hello Kitty tattoo for a while.:)

We had a great time in Chattanooga. It was a wonderful place to visit and we can't wait to go back. We love to see family and we wish Brooke and Seth lived closer (in Birmingham) to us. Next time, Atlanta!
