We were able to walk around and see lots of alligators. It isn't a typical zoo as it only had a handful of animals. There were some giraffes, panthers, bears and monkeys. Random fact, there are wild rhesus monkeys in the Ocala National Forest. We went on a "jeep safari" and were able to see a group of them on the ride. Apparently you are supposed to point at them, because it's a sign of aggression. I kept pointing at them. It was hard not to! There was a baby monkey and he was so cute!
There was also a petting zoo where Baby Lawson could feed some domesticated animals crackers. There was a donkey, a turkey, a deer, and a llama. Oh, the llama. Baby Lawson went to feed the llama a cracker and Lawson decided to pet the llama. It didn't like that so it spit the cracker back at Lawson, which he thought was funny. We walked around to the other side of the llama enclosure and I was feeding the llama some bits of crackers. Lawson wanted to pet the llama again because he thought it was funny that the llama spit the cracker at him. So he is reaching around him (I am walking off at this time) and the llama hawks a huge lugey on him!!!!! Unfortunately, Terri got spit on as well. Lawson got a faceful of saliva and Terri got the regurgitated cracker. I laughed and laughed and and laughed!!!!!! It was so gross! And it smelled so bad! Absolutely disgusting!
Judah's first carousel ride.
Riding on the Lighthouse ride. It took us up really high and we could see the whole park. Actually, while we were up there, we just wanted to get off. The ride was too high and too old.
