Eleven Months

Well, one more month and I will have a toddler and not a baby. Whatever! He is always going to be my baby! Juju is so precious! What a snuggle bug! He is growing so fast and getting bigger each day! He has accomplished a lot this past month. He is taking a couple of steps and loves to walk behind his walker toy (thanks, Mimi and Papi). He will take a couple of steps towards me, but will usually drop to all fours and crawl. He is speedy on his knees. He can clap on command and also when he hears clapping on TV. He is waving bye-bye with a forward facing hand, instead of a backwards facing hand like last month. When we ask him to give us a "kissy, kissy" he will give us the sweetest open mouth kiss. Love it! He is using a sippy cup with ease and loves his brother's sippy cups. So, he has been drinking milk a little early. It's fun to see him get a sippy cup with chocolate milk, because he becomes very possessive of that sippy cup. If Lawson tries to take it away, Judah will let him know what he thinks about that. He can also drink from a straw and climb on to a low chair. He is now in a size 4 diaper after several poopy explosions. Those are not fun at all. We have learned that watermelon gives him a terrible diaper rash, but he loves it so much! Well, he loves all food so much-asparagus, avocado, sun dried tomatoes. So far there is nothing he won't eat. He is over baby food and doesn't want to eat it unless there are chunks of pasta or fruit. He will somewhat let me read him a story. Mostly he wants to throw the book down. We just got batteries for a toy that we got him for Christmas, a ball popper. He loves it. And he loves all of Lawson's toys too.:) Which causes some strife. He is a precious, happy boy! He loves to laugh and get in the action. What a boy!
