Funny speech

It's amazing what Lawson is picking up as far as speech goes. One day he was rolling down the hallway on his car, saying "You're kidding me! You're kidding me!" One morning we were sitting at the table eating breakfast and he says "Mmmmm, this is so good!" He does that quite often now when we are eating. I am glad he is enjoying my food.

Another thing he is saying is, "I want to see the Oskey Bugs." Oskey bugs are these imaginary bugs on Lawson's latest favorite show, "Yo Gabba Gabba".
We are not sure why he likes the Oskey Bugs. We have had fun when some songs come on Yo Gabba Gabba such as , "Don't Bite Your Friends" and "Inside Voice, Outside Voice." We sometimes have to refer to the "no biting" song. Lawson will still bite every now and again.

It's so cute to see him begin to be able to have a conversation with us. He will tell us things and ask for things. He is using several word sentences and has appropriate verbs. He is saying "please", "thank you", "you're welcome" and "excuse me". We are working on "yes sir, no sir, yes ma'am and no ma'am". He will usually say "yes sir and no sir" to me and Lawson.

We love the Party in your Tummy song. BTW- Helen's first words were "thank you" (really means "I'll take that") and this past week, "cracker", "cookie", and "eat eat". Bad trend when it comes to our grocery budget!
