Grandparents are wonderful!

Lawson got to see both sets of grandparents within a week of each other, which was wonderful! My parents, Lawson's Mimi and Papi, came in the last weekend of July and then we went to North Carolina to see Lawson's parents, Lawson's Grammie and Pawpaw.

When my parents came in, Lawson and I were part of a small group that went out on a Saturday to do service projects around Birmingham. So Mimi and Papi got a lot of time with Baby Lawson with no parents. He slept the majority of the time, so Mimi cleaned my bathrooms. Thanks, Mom!!! We got to have a wonderful Sunday dinner with Damaris and Ryan, Matt and Amanda. We now just have to pray that they will move here.

Papi and Mimi got Lawson a frog chair to take to our trip to the beach.

Then we took off for North Carolina, with a stop in Atlanta to go shopping at H&M. I also went to the Target and got some toys for 75% off! Woohoo!!!!

The first day we got there it rained, so we just hung out at home. Very nice. Then we went to the park the next day.

Hanging out with Daddy!

Sitting in the dirt (and putting it in his mouth when I wasn't looking.)

Looking at some butterflies.
Daddy caught one for Lawson to see.
We took advantage of the Tax Free Holiday to drive to Pigeon Forge (which is like Panama City Beach in the mountains-putt-putt and bungee jumping and go-carts and shows and rednecks). They have some outlet malls there, so Lawson was able to get some great deals for work. And Baby Lawson took an 1 hour and 15 minute nap in his stroller in the Banana Republic. And didn't wake up. So why is it that when I am at home and he is napping and I breathe too loud he wakes up?
That night we went to the Black Bear Jamboree, which is a dinner theatre with dancing and singing and large mechanical bears.
This was the best picture we got. My eyes are almost closed because in all the rest of the pictures I am sneezing.
Lawson enjoyed the show for the most part. But about 3/4's of the way through he had had enough. He wanted to walk around and not sit anymore. He had been sitting all day.
One night Lawson found a basket and sat in it for about 30 minutes. It was so cute!
Playing drums with Pawpaw.
Come to the mountains!!!
Got your nose!
