We celebrated Lawson's 5th birthday this past weekend. On Friday morning, his actual birthday, we tried to sing "Happy Birthday" and celebrate, but Lawson said he would not turn 5 until he blew out he candles on his birthday cake. My parents, Mimi and Papi, came in that night and we went to dinner at Jason's Deli because Lawson loves their broccoli cheese soup. We had his birthday party on Saturday at a local park that was shaded with lots of trees and had a small, shallow creek running through it. So despite the 90+ temperature, it was bearable. We had chicken nuggets, cheese and crackers, Doritos and watermelon, all of Lawson's favorites. It was a bit tough planning a party at 38 weeks pregnant, but it went off without a hitch! We are so thankful to our friends who came out to celebrate Lawson despite the heat!!!!! He had a blast!
On Friday, June 22nd, we went out for donuts for breakfast because Lawson wanted a "bullseye" donut. Who am I to say "No" to donuts???
My 5-year-old baby!

We had a frog themed birthday. Lawson loves them!
