Christmas Day

We celebrated Christmas with Lawson's parents this year. We woke up and the kids immediately started going through their stockings and taking toys from ech other. Even though they got a lot of the same toys, they always look better when someone else is holding them. Lawson got so much stuff! He got a tent, Fridge Wash and Go, books, a puzzle and a basketball goal from me and Lawson. Grammie and Pawpaw got him a portable DVD player (which is awesome!!!), a wagon, Elmo Live (which Terri got a great discount on!), books, Little People, movies, a wooden hippo pull toy, bath toys, new Christmas pj's, a stuffed panda and DVD- lots of new stuff to play with! Aunt Brooke, Uncle Seth and Alyssa got Lawson a fridge DJ and a Florida Gator sippy cup. I am not sure how we are going to get all this home, but we will manage! We are very blessed to have a wonderful family!

I made a Christmas Day French Toast casserole and a grits casserole. Both were very yummy. We spent the rest of the day relaxing and baking and watching movies and playing Seth's Wii. I watched A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott for the first time, which was very good. A little scary for younger kids, but a great movie. I have seen the Muppet's Christmas Carol (my personal favorite) and Mickey Mouse's Christmas Carol. We all talked about how much anticipation there is leading up to Christmas and then it is over so quickly. I still want to listen to Christmas carols and watch Christmas shows and bake and shop. Even though, it was a wonderful Christmas! Can't wait till next year!!!!!
